“As someone with no acting experience, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I got so much out of the Actor’s School classes I participated in and will be taking more in the future. The courses were very accessible and welcoming to someone at my level but with how the exercises are structured I think experienced actors would find them very constructive.”

“The class I took at The Actor's School was my introduction into the world of acting. I signed up for the class on a whim, with no prior experience and a bit of curiosity. The class was incredibly fun and educating; I was surprised by how much I learned. The instructors emphasized the use of the physical body to express nuanced emotions and each class we had the opportunity to explore how various feelings manifest visually. I still apply some of the exercises used in class to "feel" my emotions and observe how others display their own internal dialogue. The class was a very fun and rewarding introduction to the science of acting.

The instructors are delightful, experienced, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend The Actor's School to anyone looking to get out of their comfort zone while learning something new and useful!!”

“I have had 2 sessions, and it has been incredibly enlightening so far. It was really amazing how much more I really noticed about my body after each session. I'm looking forward to my next class. 5 out of 5.”

“Having worked with Griffin on three separate projects, I can confidently say that he brings an energy and experience to the theater environment that is unmatched. He is funny, supportive, encouraging, and a patient teacher. Our theater was struggling, and with Griffin’s help we were able to breathe life into our department and put on fantastic performances such as Rhinoceros by Eugene Ionesco and Melancholy Play by Sarah Ruhl, both directed by Griffin himself. He is not only professional, but also makes sure to personally connect with the company of any show he is working on, and he does his best to bring more opportunities to others.”

“Working with Adam on the Alba technique was definitely a rewarding experience. With Adam’s guidance, I was able to unlock a depth of emotion that I’d never been able to explore as an actor in the past. I left each session feeling energized and eager to learn more. I would recommend working with Adam not only from an acting standpoint, but also for personal growth.”

“How can I sum up the life changing effects of Alba having had only one private couples session with Adam?

Widely unknown to this part of the world, I did my own research about this 'Alba' concept and shared it with my partner. After some recent challenges and restructuring of our relationship, we weren't sure where to go or what to do next. This seemed like a helpful step towards figuring that out. Wow, what an understatement!

Adam set up a time with us to come to my home and explain what Alba is and how it works. In our first session we covered the basics and began with some exercises. It's one thing to hear about it but quite another to experience just how powerful the application of Alba breathing techniques can be on directing emotions. We learned so much about ourselves in such a short time and came away with a refreshed perspective.

Today, I feel optimistic about the future for the first time in a long while. I can see how this practice has the potential to transform lives. I used to feel controlled by my emotions, but now I understand how using Alba will give me back that control so I can lead a happier, calmer, fuller life. Thank you, Adam, from the bottom of my heart. We are honored to have you as our teacher through this journey!”

"The Alba workshop certainly centered me. The focus on breathing and how it brings about the actors' emotions in performance is something of keen interest to me, a movement-theatre artist. I am well aware of how gestures and body shapes evoke emotional states for the actor and the emphasis on breathing was in concordance with my past practices. His expertise and gentle guidance created a safe environment that makes him a praiseworthy workshop leader. He introduced me to an intriguing method about which I want to learn more."

"I have attended Adam's intro workshop, and also engaged him to present basic emotional technique to my Twin Valley High School theatre class. With both adults and teens, he was engaging, professional, and fun. Adam is a skilled educator, facilitating a technique valuable to actors and non-actors alike."

“Hi, it's me again! 3 months after the first review. I had taken Adam and Griffin's acting class, and it was a huge benefit to my comedy variety show. But recently, Adam came to my show and took notes and critiqued what he watched. Afterwards, we got together and he went over his notes with me for about an hour. All I can tell you is this hour was some of the most useful feedback I've ever gotten on my show; things I never would have thought twice about. Adam has such a critical eye for stage and theatrical events. I put his critiques into practice in my show last night and they made a world of difference. From technical mistakes, like where I should be staging my speaker, to the stage layout, like how I set up my props and create an atmosphere that's welcoming to an incoming audience... Just WOW. Adam's veteran stage/actor knowledge blew me out of the water. He's well worth his price. If you have a show/act or are trying to create one, don't hesitate!”
